| Singer SGD-001 | CDR | CDRW | MP3 | This is one great player. For the price ($399 Australian)it performs great. It plays DVD, VCD, DVCD, SVCD, CVD, CDDA, CDI-FMV, CD, MP3 (!), CD-R and CD-RW. I used all kinds of CD-R media, haven't had one problem yet. Handles different VCD bitrates OK. The machine is REGION FREE, so it will play any disc. Just pop it in and hit play.

Singer is a sister company of Akai and Sansui. The same machine might be available in other countries (than Australia) under those brand names. Have a look out for this one if you are after a cheap "does anything" solution. |
